Within a few months children move developmentally from crawling to creating words, establishing ownership, independence and control. They become familiar with the words “No”, “Me”, “My”, and “Mine!”
Children like interacting with toys that they can touch. Your child’s caregiver will create an environment that promotes imaginative play, build critical thinking skills, and intellectual curiosity by using the right tools to enhance proper growth and development. We will keep you updated about your child’s growth and learning experience as they develop gross motor skills, critical thinking skills and independence.
At this stage children will express more curiosity about the world around them. Our curriculum consists of simple books, pictures, stories, and discussions to help children make connections to the real world. Our caregiver will help the children feel accepted, communicate and get along together, while encouraging a sense of respect and emotional stability.
At this stage children feel free to roam around their world as they actively explore the environment. Language development takes major leaps that lead to learning the names of objects, and the ability to ask for things as they discover their independent nature. Our teachers will teach the children how to master the basic learning skills, encourage active discussion and experimentation of new concepts of learning.
